Plans, plans, plans

This is my blog for my A2 Level Media Studies project. I have decided to do the following task:

1. A promotion package for the release of an album, to include a music promo video, with two of the following three options:
• a website homepage for the band;
• a cover for its release on DVD;
• a magazine advertisement for the DVD.

During this blog I will be analysing various codes and conventions associated with these products, whilst looking at audience research to gain a greater knowledge of what is needed. I will also be drafting up my designs whilst analysing them and taking you through how I came across each finished article. Finally, I will sum up my experience and answer a few questions concerning my finished media article and ho it relates to various things such as the user and different texts.
